Dancehall artiste Vershon has provided a platform for dancers worldwide to showcase their creative moves and choreography in a dance challenge that complements his latest single, ' Cool It'.

The prize money amounts to $500,000 and the winnings will be shared among three winners: first place receiving US$2,000; second pocketing US$500; and third taking home US$200.

"Music is a dice - you never know what you will get, but you must promote the music. Do the interviews, go in the streets, and have it circulating at parties, on the radio, all platforms, to continue to push the song. Even after the challenge is over, which is October 7, my team will continue to push the song. It doesn't just end there," Vershon said.

Jenelle Thompson, spokesperson for the competition, explained that the song "is Vershon's latest sexy song which is targeting females who are not able to deal with the 'bedroom bully' performance and are forced to take a break or cool it down, as the song suggests".

The competition, which started on September 5, will climax on October 7. To enter, competitors should post a video on TikTok dancing to the song. Entries should be sent to hashtag #coolitchallenge. Competitors should also tag and follow @vershonmusic and @soniqmusic.

The competition, which is advertised on all social media platforms, has attracted some 20 dancers from more than 10 countries, including Jamaica, USA and Sweden. Winners' prizes will be sent to their bank accounts.

Vershon is known for songs such as Use To Hungry, Boom, and Ina Real Life.
