Nastic excited about new single
Reggae artiste Nastic is in an upbeat mood about his new single, Let Love Abide.
"From the earliest days of my musical journey, I decided to use my God-given talent to entertain and educate the people. This new single is another song of inspiration that I have recorded to make a positive impact on the hearts and souls of the people, and I hope everyone who listens to it will be inspired to show love to their brothers and sisters," he said.
The Rastafarian singer said the song was inspired by things he observed happening in society.
"When I look around and see what is happening in Jamaica, my heart is filled with grief and sorrow. Every day I turn on the radio, all I hear about is crime and violence. I am tired of hearing about women and children being abducted and murdered; I am tired of hearing about robberies and shootings," he said.
He continued, "When did Jamaica become like this? It's time to wake up Jamaica! We need a change; we need to live in love and unity. Only love can save us."
The single is co-produced by Fitzroy Hamilton of King Hamilton Productions and Ralston Barrett of Symphony B Records.
Nastic recently delivered impressive performances at several events in Kingston, including Kingston Night Market and Reggae Pon Top.
