Busy Signal, Spanish artistes drop Latin-dancehall track
Amid last week's release of Latin-dancehall-fused song ' After Party', which features dancehall heavyweight Busy Signal and Spanish artistes Mel Granda and Osmani La Voz Garcia, the track has jumped to No. 1 on the Latin USA iTunes chart.
Mel Granda and Osmani La Voz kicked off the track with an upbeat uptempo vibe, their hard-hitting verses filled with lyrics and instructions that immediately compel you to hit the dance floor. The ever-lyrical Busy Signal switched things up on the track, captivating listeners with his catchy hook.
Producer Crawba Genius said the idea to add Busy Signal to the track was a no-brainer.
"Busy is limitless when it comes on to music, he is always exploring different sounds and vibe. So when I told him about the collaboration, he was ready, likewise the Spanish artistes Mel Granda and Osmani La Voz. It's a great blend of genres and the sound came out perfect," he said.
"The feedback is crazy. I am elated to see the Latin and dancehall fans are showing support, digitally streaming and downloading the song. We give thanks," he added. Busy Signal was grateful for the song's success.
"Thank you so much. Big up to everyone who support the track. Much love and appreciation, it's a big look for both genres. It shows the masses are loving the fusion. Give thanks to the Almighty," he said, adding that the collaboration is a perfect blend of the Latin and dancehall cultures.
"I just wanted to explore the Latin market and fuse the genres. My fans are worldwide, enuh, I have to feed them with different music and show them them mi versatile, while spreading the dancehall culture," he said. "Give thanks! Big up Crawba."
