For his previous projects, deejay/rapper Rally Bop did the unique by releasing two albums simultaneously.

He returns to the scene with Patience, an album dedicated to old-school dancehall. Released by his TSR Records on September 19, it has 10 songs, all produced by the Atlanta, Georgia-based artiste. That, Rally Bop opined, is the biggest difference between his previous albums.

"This album is different because I was definitely in full control of the creative process and the production. It's mainly dancehall tracks with the potential to break in other markets," he said.

The title track and Badman Dance are the singles that have been released so far from Patience, which Rally Bop describes as "Strictly dancehall with a touch of the '90s, early 2000s to present day."

Shotta Life and Dancehall Trap The Album were the albums he released simultaneously in late 2021. The former is a dancehall set, while the latter is straight hip-hop, which he discovered as a youth in The Bronx, New York City.

Previously known as Trap Shotta Rally, Rally Bop is originally from Linstead, St Catherine. Migrating with his family to the United States at age 11, he settled in New York City which had a vibrant Jamaican sound system culture.

The Big Apple, particularly The Bronx, was birthplace of hip-hop. Rally Bop was drawn to the music of Tupac Shakur, The Notorious B.I.G. and the gangsta rap movement in California.
