Loyalty over royalty best describes the love shown to Scheme Boss at his birthday celebration last Thursday night at Savannah Plaza in Half-Way Tree, St Andrew.

Scheme Boss, founder and promoter of Tun Up Di Scheme, an event which has its roots in Cockburn Pen in the parish, received strong support from members of the entertainment fraternity, including selectors and dancers.

A strong line-up of selectors, comprising DJ Tom of Leggo the Streets Wednesdays fame, and hard hitters, DJ Banka and Shukkle Bus, kept patrons entertained.

DJ Tom, who kick-started the party, skilfully transitioned between different musical genres and eras. The charismatic DJ Banka, who took over from DJ Tom, offered his trademark social commentary, which was complimented by an avalanche of hit songs.

Shukkle Bus brought the musical presentation to a grand finale, showcasing his versatility throughout his set. He initially revved up the ladies with his lively tunes, and later delved into a repertoire of hardcore tracks. He concluded with dance anthems that had the dancers, including Energy and the 'Get There' Squad, Patta Skeng and the seasoned dancehall sensation Shelly Belly showing off their skills.
