Dancehall artiste Pamputtae is enjoying her time in England, with the ' Ride It' hitmaker being warmly received by fans.

Pamputtae, who recently had her United Kingdom (UK) visa reinstated after a decade, marked her long-awaited return with a performance at Energy Fest at Chak 89 in London on October 29. The show also featured Queenie, the controversial social media figure who has branched out into showbiz.

"The crowd was amazing and it was clear they were loving my performance," Pamputtae told THE WEEKEND STAR. "When it was time for me to leave, they still wanted more."

Prior to the reinstatement of her UK visa, Pamputtae was thrice denied the opportunity to travel to England, but she kept the faith and continued to create music for her fans. Happy to be back, the entertainer said the experience "has been great".

"I am loving it, so far I have no complaints," she said.

When asked what the most noticeable change she has seen since she was last in the UK, she joked, "the pound got stronger".

Jokes aside, she expressed how grateful she was for the opportunity to travel there again as the market is integral to dancehall music.

"The UK market is big and they are big fans of our music. I just have to keep putting in the work and make sure I am putting out good content for them to consume," she said.

She continued: "What I like most about the UK is that the people show me love, dem show me say dem grateful and dem thankful fi see Pamputtae, and fi know say Pamputtae deh here back. The love is real."
