Kelé releases debut single

Recording artiste Kele is on a musical high following the release of her official debut single, With You, on September 29.

"This is a lovers' rock-reggae song that was written about a female coming to the realisation that she's very much in love. She's sure that this person is the one for her, and that life with this person can be everything she needs. With all the requirements and responsibilities of a relationship, she's prepared to be all that and more, because she feels safe and secured," the artiste explained.

Showcasing calming but powerful vocals, Kele's debut is a simple but memorable song that will keep music lovers singing. Since its release, the track has been gaining positive traction.

"I've received all positive feedback so far. People are tuning in and awaiting new music, so it's really motivating," the artiste added. While she has been on her musical journey for more than six years, Kele is officially walking down the path of what is expected to be a fruitful career.

"As I go forward in my career, I want to become an established artiste to share my music and outlook with people, both locally and internationally," the artiste stated.

With this first single on the airwaves, it's only the beginning for what fans can expect from Kele.

"At the moment, I'm working on writing and releasing more good music and building my platform. I love reggae music, but I also indulge in different genres of music, including jazz and pop, so you can look out for what's next," the artiste revealed.
