Reggae singer Andy Livingston is pleased with the response to his latest single, titled ' Dancehall', which features Busy Signal.

The song was released in September and has been enjoying airplay from deejays in Jamaica, the US, the UK, Europe and Africa.

"I'm not surprised at all by the level of support it's getting because it's a very good song and Busy Signal is one of the giants in dancehall music," he said. Livingston also revealed that he plans to shoot a video to ramp up the promotion of the song.

"As you know, Busy has a very hectic overseas schedule but, as soon as he's available, I would like to shoot the video. We already have the concept for the project; locations have been scouted, and we have a production team ready to shoot it. We're going to shoot a video that will appeal to a global audience," said Livingston.

The easy-going singer, poet and published author was in fine form when he performed recently at Jamaica Reggae Industry Association's Reggae Wednesdays which was held at Footprints Cafe in Kingston.

"I've been very active on the Kingston live-show scene lately. My most recent performance was at Reggae Wednesdays. I performed a set that was well received by the audience. which included songs such as Dancehall, No Solution, and Jamaica Running Red," he said.

Livingston also revealed that he's working on several new projects that he plans to release next year.
