With what he considers a productive 2023 coming to a close, Alton Smith is looking to take his Syn Citi Entertainment to new heights in the new year.

The Florida-based label released two projects this year - the Prosperity compilation album and Friends And Foes, an EP. Both featured top acts, but Smith wants even bigger things for the imprint that he started two years ago.

"[I am] embracing 2024 with new music and fresh sounds, steering towards a positive musical vibe that stands the test of time. I am aspiring to create work that I'll be proud of in the coming decades, resonating with music lovers. I want to shine the spotlight on Bibidon, a talented young artiste, and elevate him into the mainstream," he said.

Bibidon, who is from St Mary, has done songs on most of Syn Citi Entertainment's productions to date. Greatness was his contribution to the Prosperity album, which also has singles by Norris Man, Turbulence and I-Octane.

That set, according to Smith, got "overwhelming positive feedback" which he hopes will set the tone for commercial success in 2024.

Smith debuted two years ago with the release of the Syn Citi rhythm compilation album.
