Troyton drops ‘Stray Dog’ rhythm

Music producer Troyton released the 11-track 'Stray Dog' rhythm on November 24.

Described as an authentic dancehall production, the project features a plethora of superstars, including Busy Signal, D Major, IWaata, Charly Black, I-Octane, Bugle and Tanya Stephens.

Completed in approximately three months, the project has been well received since its release. It reached No. 36 on the Japan Reggae chart and the single Gwaan Bad, featuring Charly Black and Neelah, reached No. 30 on the UK Reggae chart.

"My hope with this project is to bring this authentic sound that people truly love and want from Jamaica," the producer expressed.

As a producer, Troyton has put his magic to several productions, such as the 'Pleasure Tyme' rhythm which was released in 2022 and gained international success. In addition, he has graced the airwaves with several other rhythms such as 'True Emotions', 'Dancehall Symphony', 'Compassion' and 'Dark Temptation'. More recently, he produced the track Next For You on dancehall star Masicka's new album.

The producer said that he has more music in the pipeline, with projects lined up with various artistes such as Dreama.
