1Fluent denounces scamming on ‘Big Crook’
Concerned about the reported incidents of scamming, dancehall artiste 1Fluent decided to pen the song Big Crook, which was released late last month.
" Big Crook was inspired by what's taking place with the scamming going on. The song is bringing a different vibe, a message that young people can relate to," said the Portmore, St Catherine-based 1Fluent.
Since the release of the official music video on YouTube, the deejay said that the feedback has been positive.
"People can relate to it based on the subject matter," he said.
1Fluent, whose given name is Conroy Spence, hails from Waterford in Portmore. In June, he released the thought-provoking and inspirational single, Heartless Sinna.
"A lot of people can relate to it, because when you are at that lowest point in your life [and are ready] to give up, just by listening to this song, it gives you a positive energy," 1Fluent explained.
He said that he was inspired to get into music because of his family background.
"My father was involved in music, but it wasn't until I left high school that I decided to do music. When I was in high school I was more focused on getting a sound education," he shared.
