Vanessa Bling celebrates ‘Beautiful’ anniversary with new single

Dancehall diva Vanessa Bling is on a celebratory high after a year of success from her hit single, Beautiful,' which was released on International Women's Day last year.

To heighten the excitement on the artiste's musical anniversary, she will be releasing her latest single, Success Nuh Easy. Following the release of Beautiful on March 8 [International Women's Day] 2023, the song went viral after several female fans flooded the singer's personal and social media pages with videos, 'vibing' to the song.

"The response has been crazy. Over 800,000 views on YouTube and every day my Inbox on social media is full of fans sending their videos," Vanessa Bling told THE WEEKEND STAR. She noted that lately, a viral trend has also erupted on popular social media site, TikTok, from which a spectacle was created where fans made more than 10,000 videos to the song.

However, the Independent Ladies singer said that in an aid to ramp up the success, she will be releasing snippets of her new "woman empowerment and motivational" track, Success Nuh Easy, on her social accounts for this year's International Women's Day. The official, full-length release date for the single is slated for next Friday, March 15.

The artiste also stressed the need for more artistes to empower and uplift youth through their music, especially young females who are lacking in self-confidence and self-worth.

"It's important that the women of today continue to break barriers. Look at the White House in America, a woman is [the] vice-president. Positive music equals positive results," she stated.

As she anticipates her next performance at BRT Weekend in Ocho Rios, the Future Guaranteed artiste said she is currently fully booked and is scheduled for an upcoming performance in Guadeloupe, and at the Wireless Festival, featuring Trinidadian rapper and singer, Nicki Minaj.
