Andrew Bell aims high for 2024
Atlanta-based, Jamaica-born recording artiste Andrew Bell is confident that 2024 will be his breakout year.
"In recent times I've seen an upswing in the growth of my fan base, and I intend to build on this by putting out some great tracks this year. I also plan to be extremely aggressive with my music promotion and marketing. This year is my year," said the artiste.
The singer, who hails from a musical family, said that if he didn't choose a music career, he would have been a doctor.
"I grew up listening to my mother and my grandmother singing in our home day and night. Several of my mother's and my father's relatives are also singers and musicians. I began singing from an early age, so choosing a music career was an easy choice for me. However, if I didn't do music, I would have become a paediatrician because I love caring for children," he said.
Bell is currently promoting his latest single, Mama's Tears, which was produced by him and released on the Dada Jah imprint. He launched his recording career with the release of a single titled Can You, which was recorded with Sheleen Thomas. This song was produced by the late New York-based producer Phillip Smart and released by VP Records in 2009.
