Carnival week in Jamaica kicked off with the famed I Love Soca music festival.

The party, which promised non-stop feting plus special performances by Trinidadian soca artiste Kerwin Du Bois and undisputed Queen of Bacchanal Destra Garcia, definitely delivered. Masqueraders arrived at The UWI Bowl in St Andrew and danced and sang the night away under the stars. If you missed it, THE STAR has the highlights.
