Tilibop gets buzz with ‘Stay’

US-based reggae artiste Tilibop is generating major buzz with his latest release, Stay, which blends reggae, R&B, and soul.

Released on March 25, the single showcases Tilibop's ability to fuse different genres to create a unique and captivating sound.

"The response to the track has been great so far. The melodies, lyrics, and infectious rhythms in the song are designed to transport listeners to a place of pure musical bliss. So mi know say it connect and make an impact with my core audience," Tilibop said. He will be shooting a video for the project this month.

Tilibop first rose to prominence with his debut album, I Am Reggae. The 11-track project featured songs such as Pirate, Psalms, and Promise.

The artiste - whose given name is Marvin Amos - said he gained an appreciation for music as a young child in St Mary. He grew up in August Town, St Andrew, and later attended Mona High School where he began to impress his peers with his vocal skills before launching out with his special brand of positive reggae music. He migrated to the United States in 2016.

He came to national prominence with Two o'Clock a few years ago before finding an even bigger audience with his 2020 single All That.
