Emerging recording artiste BadLife has been getting recognition for the track ' Protect Me', which was released on January 11 and produced by Rebel Records Production and Highest Audio.

"The feedback has been great. It has been getting a lot of plays in the US, as well as almost 10,000 plays in three months on Apple Music," the singer said. Protect Me also sees contributions from fellow artistes Leelo, who is Buju Banton's son, and Meleku, son of another reggae legend, Sizzla. Noting that he will be teaming up with the two acts again, BadLife said it was inevitable for them to collaborate.

"I've known both artistes for some time now, so it was just a matter of time till we linked up and made some magic. Leelo is also a Rebel Records artiste," he added. Protect Me has an accompanying music video on YouTube.

BadLife's other tracks produced by Rebel Records and Highest Audio include Dat Is It, Right Now, and Money Money. He is currently busy in the studio working on new material.

"I am working on two projects. Hopefully, they will be completed and released by the end of the year. One of them is a solo project, and the other is a collab project with a fellow Rebel Records artiste called Zakasi," BadLife revealed.
