Agent Sasco, Afrobeat star for Backyard BBQ

The seventh Jack Daniel's Backyaad BBQ Food & Music Festival, slated for April 28 at Port Royal Cruise Terminal in Kingston, will feature performances from Agent Sasco and Afrobeat recording artiste Yung Wylin.

Both artistes have their unique fan base and will create a wholesome entertainment package coupled with music by Bishop Escobar, DJ Mac, ZJ Romzi Nova, Fyahman, Baba, 1Jav, Vinchi and DJ Dwayne.

Agent Sasco is known for singles such as Winning Right Now and Banks Of The Hope.

"Agent Sasco has a strong catalogue from the early 2000s filled with hits after hits. The choice to book him was a no-brainer. We wanted to choose acts that would come with the right message and the right energy," said promoter Carlton Davy. The same goes for Yung Wylin, who is known predominantly for his hit single Good Energy.

Davy added, "Yung Wylin adds so much value to the event; we offer impeccable Jamaican cuisine, fashion, music, and great whiskey."

Backyaad BBQ Food & Music Festival will feature up to 12 food vendors such as Plantain Smokehouse, Veggie Campus and Bad Dwag.

"We are embracing and exploring Jamaican cuisine and inviting other Jamaicans and tourists to embark on this culinary journey with us. We have partnered with Jack Daniel's for the last seven years to create a wholesome experience for all to enjoy," added Davy.
