DJ Paradise Musical Genius drops electronic reggae track
By engineering an uptempo electronic beat behind Jah Clarity's Very Royal, DJ Paradise Musical Genius, also known as simply DJ Paradise, was able to tap into a new wave of reggae by offering his listeners an entertaining mix of reggae and dance.
The UK-based producer/disc jock released the original version of Very Royal last year but opted to re-release the track months later as a co-production with Sir Nutz.
"This release has definitely got the attention of the right people and with the marketing plan I have in place, I am positive the track will transcend further. The track got the attention of the masses when I created a personalised dubplate of the track for a wedding by adding the uptempo beat, following with patrons requesting the track, until it made an impact within our musical community. It's not easy to fit a dance beat on a reggae track and that's what accounts for the traction we have been getting thus far. The supporters are having fun with this one and I am thankful," said DJ Paradise.
Currently garnering thousands of streams on multiple digital platforms, the producer shared that he has other disc jocks ensuring the constant rotation of the track in an attempt to broaden his reach.
"There are several mainstream radio disc jocks that have added the track to their libraries and have given me their vote of confidence that they see this song doing major numbers over the next few months," he said.
