Red hot entertainers Preedy, Stalk Ashley, Rajah Wild and Cham are set to ignite the stages at Best Weekend Ever during the 'Emancipendence' celebrations.

Best Weekend Ever Destination, which features seven events in five days, is set for August 2-6 in Ocho Rios, St Ann.

Coupled with the euphoria of seven events in five days, the festival organisers have carefully curated a stellar line-up of artistes with multi-generational appeal who are set to light up multiple stages and leave audiences in the best mood ever.

I Love Soca Cooler will kick things off on August 2, returning to Plantation Cove with its Candy Land-inspired theme and a performance from Preedy.

As the largest cooler festival in Jamaica, Preedy's vibrant soca hits like Lost and Found and Beatin Road will guarantee non-stop dancing with the socaphiles singing each song word for word.

Newcomer to the weekend, Rise and Toast, dubbed Best Day Party by the Miami New Times, has veteran dancehall performer Cham booked to heat up the old skool, new skool-themed event on August 5.

Cham with his slew of hits spanning over two decades is known to deliver high-octane performances filled with hits like Ghetto Story and the party anthem Tun Up.

Later that night, on August 5, Stalk Ashley will grace the stage at Allure, where she promises to captivate waistlines with tracks such as Narcissistic and Casamigos while the Inferno created by Rajah Wild will have the audience Wild (in) Out as he closes out the weekend at Late Check Out on August 6.

Both events (Allure and Late Check Out) will be held at Pearly Beach.

Dwayne Dacres, director of Best Weekend Ever, expressed his anticipation for each performance by saying, "We are thrilled to showcase this exceptional line-up for Best Weekend Ever 2024. The diverse talent and energy these artistes exude and their appeal to a wide cross section of patrons will make this year's staging the most memorable experience."

Dacres has also hinted at the possibility of surprise guest performances over the weekend.

"We've created an atmosphere that is known to attract the most sought-after entertainers in Jamaica, the Caribbean and North America who come to enjoy the events and make stage cameos for the love of the weekend and their fans; so come early and enjoy as each event unfolds, because there will be surprises," he said.
