DJ Tom booked for Freedom Street

Popular sound system selector DJ Tom is thrilled to be one of the few selected to perform at the highly anticipated Vybz Kartel concert, Freedom Street, set to take place on December 31 at the National Stadium in St Andrew.

"I've put in a lot of work into my career, and it's finally paying off. It's a joy to be part of the most anticipated event in Jamaican dancehall. This is my chance to showcase my skills and growth as a selector among the top talents. This event will be history in the making," DJ Tom shared excitedly.

Cordel 'Skatta' Burrell, a key figure in DownSound Entertainment, which is leading the organisation committee for the event, confirmed DJ Tom's addition to the concert line-up.

Freedom Street is set to be a historic event, which will mark Vybz Kartel's first concert appearance in nearly 14 years.

DJ Tom recently made his debut performance in London at an event called Shoes Game, which he described as a resounding success.

"The show in England was a success -- great vibes, great energy, and a solid turnout. The crowd welcomed me warmly, and I delivered. For my first time in London, I really made my mark," he said.

Earlier this year, DJ Tom and his T&R Entertainment team celebrated the second anniversary of 'Leggo Di Streets' on Central Road in Kencot, St Andrew.

"I want to thank my loyal patrons, artistes, dancers, promoters, and the T&R Entertainment team. Without all of you, this event wouldn't be the success it is. You've made it a staple in the weekly entertainment calendar," he said.
