Natty King and Samora hit with ‘You Give Me Love’

Reggae singer Natty King and Switzerland-based reggae-pop singer Samora recently merged their creative energies to record a hot new single titled ' You Give Me Love'.

The song, which was produced by Switzerland-based producers Ludovic Hoarau, Kiro MusicMaker and Res Staudenman, was released in June along with a video.

"This collaboration wasn't planned. I met Samora at an event in Austria last year that both of us were booked to perform at. Before showtime, I was in the dub studio. She visited the studio as well. That's how we met," said Natty King.

"During our conversation, Samora told me that one of my fans, who is a friend of hers, asked her to say hi to me. This led to us talking about the possibility of doing a collaboration. She called me when I was in Germany and we spoke about the song. I loved the idea, so she booked a ticket for me and I flew to Switzerland and recorded the song with her," he added.

You Give Me Love recently peaked at number 13 on the iTunes Reggae Charts.

"We are very happy with the success of this song, but we're not surprised. From the day we recorded it, we knew it was going to be a hit because it is a powerful reggae-pop love song. I strongly believe that it will go on to be a classic," said Natty King.

The St Thomas-born entertainer recently did a series of shows in Europe, including Reggae Jam, One Love Festival and Hill Vibes Festival.

"Europe is always a very nice place to perform because the people have a great love for reggae music. I've been performing over there since 2004 and the vibes has always been nice, and this year was no different. I got a lot of love and support from the fans at all the festivals and club events where I performed," he said.
