Trmor plans to achieve global success
Recording artiste Trmor is confident that one day his name will be listed among the greats in Jamaican music.
"Although I am a new artiste, I am not worried about when my break will come. Right now, I am focused on developing my craft and making music that will last for generations. I do not want to be an overnight sensation. I want to have a long and successful career," said the artiste.
The Kingston-born singjay said that his goal is to become an international music star.
"I am confident that I will achieve this goal because I'm bringing something new and exciting to the table. I'm fusing reggae and dancehall music with other genres, including Afrobeats, soca and EDM, to make music that appeals to music lovers worldwide," he said. Trmor is currently promoting his new single, titled Ooh Nah Na. The song is produced by Kasteel Nation.
"My team and I are extremely pleased with the response that my song is getting. It's receiving a lot of rotation locally and it's beginning to pick up in other territories, including the US, Africa, England and Europe," he said.
Trmor, given name Shakeir Kidd, grew up in the Barbican area of St Andrew. He launched his recording career in 2021 with the release of a single titled Guilty Pleasures on the Tyrah Records imprint.
