Shinealous Records recently released its 'JMF' (Jamerican Mafia Family) rhythm.

Produced by the legendary DJ BabyAce, a veteran of the reggae dancehall industry, the rhythm features veteran artistes Edley Shine, Honorebel and Don Yute, as well as relative newcomer Tae'Ja Rose, each contributing their unique style and energy.

"The exciting thing about the JMF riddim is that it incorporates the current dancehall sounds as far as instrumentation [is concerned], with powerful lyrical influences and creativity of veteran, established artistes, with the exception of Tae'Ja Rose. I think it's a comprehensive balance of both worlds, new and older dancehall sound," shared DJ Baby Ace.

Edley Shine's Gr8Ness is the project's lead single; South Florida's lyrical powerhouse Honorebel delivers What You Drinking; Don Yute puts his stamp on the effort with The Golden Child; and ushering in undeniable female energy is Tae'Ja Rose with Lost Ways.

"The JMF riddim came about when Baby Ace sent me the riddim and no one wanted to voice on it. I'm excited by the fact that we took coal and made diamonds. We were able to put on our executive hat and craft four singles that could stand up in today's modern Caribbean music market," opined Edley Shine.

The project has been enjoying steady rotation on both local and international radio, and shows signs of becoming a big hit.

"I have the highest hopes for this project; all of the songs are very well done, each artiste did an amazing job," said DJ Baby Ace.
