Dancehall artiste Iyara has released his first body of work in six years with ' Rope Buss', an eight-track EP which was produced by Bellevue Entertainment.

Rope Buss is the follow-up to 2018's Proven. Among the tracks is the collaboration with Turbulence titled Braveheart, GOAT Get Weh, and the chart-topper Big Vibe (Arubadubadu). Iyara said he put in some hard work to make the EP what it is.

"I put in over 100 per cent in this project because I am always aiming for greatness, and great work brings great results," said Iyara. "From the Rope Buss EP, the fans can expect the highest level of musical productions, diversity, unique creativity and flows, as well as delivery with expression of soulful music."

Iyara explained that the EP's title was inspired by the journey of his career and his hit song, GOAT Get Weh.

"At one point I felt like I was tied up musically, mentally and emotionally, but the goat never stopped applying the pressure till the rope buss," he said.

Originally from Portland, Iyara later relocated to Kingston. He now resides in the United States.
