Eminem excited to become a grandpa

Eminem was stunned by his daughter's pregnancy reveal.

The 51-year-old rapper's daughter, Hailie Jade Mathers, surprised him during the filming of his music video for Temporary by presenting him with a jersey that said "Grandpa."

At first, he didn't get the message.

Speaking on her Just A Little Shady podcast, 28-year-old Hailie recalled: "He was like, 'Are you trying to call me old? Why are you giving me this jersey that says grandpa?' Then I showed him the ultrasound picture, and he was like, 'Oh my God, this is real? This is happening?'"

The unexpected reveal caught even the film crew off guard. "The person filming had no idea what was going on. They thought it was just another shot, so their reaction had to be muted because they were so confused," Hailie shared.

Hailie recently revealed that she and her husband, Evan McClintock, are expecting a baby boy. On her podcast, she popped a balloon filled with blue confetti, excitedly announcing, "It's a boy! We're so excited. When we found out, Evan was like, 'He's going to hunt with me, golf with me. I've got a little buddy.' I told him, 'Well, he's still coming to Target with me.'"

Meanwhile, Eminem is reportedly thrilled about becoming a grandfather. According to PEOPLE, the rapper is focused on a quieter life these days and is "very protective" of Hailie. "He's excited about becoming a grandpa and supporting her," the source said. "She's a big focus in his life, especially since they live so close now."

In addition to Hailie, Eminem-- given name Marshall Bruce Mathers III--also has two other children, Alaina, 31, and Stevie, 22.
