Ticketing company refunds Sting fans
Party Ace, one of the ticketing companies for Sting 2024, says it has successfully and securely processed all refunds following the postponement of the event, originally scheduled for December 26.
The 40th anniversary of what is often hailed as 'The Greatest One Night Reggae and Dancehall Show on Earth' was scheduled for Boxing Day. However, hours before the scheduled start, the organisers abruptly called off the show.
Supreme Promotions Ltd, promoters of Sting, said the show has been tentatively rescheduled for February 2025. Isaiah Laing, head of Supreme Promotions, assured patrons who had already made arrangements that they could either attend the new date or receive a refund.
Party Ace, in a statement yesterday, said 100 per cent of ticket refunds "have been swiftly handled".
"We fully understand the disappointment caused by the change in plans for such a highly anticipated event," said Keith Ferguson, CEO of Party Ace.
"Our priority has always been to ensure that our customers feel supported and confident in their ticket purchase. The seamless and timely processing of refunds highlights the strength of our platform and reinforces our commitment to transparency and trust."
