'Trapped behind bars' - Freedom Street patrons impatiently await entrance

Gates to the National Stadium in St Andrew are currently crowded as patrons arrive for the highly-anticipated Freedom Street concert. Some persons have even informed our team that they have been waiting since 1 p.m. to be let in.

"We come fi see di boss, and we locked behind the bars," said one patron who opted to remain anonymous.

Another patron explained he had been waiting since 1:00 p.m., despite information noting gates would open at 4 p.m.

"Me really can't understand a wah gwan in deh. Right yah now a lef me feel fi lef," he said.

Freedom Street marks the highly anticipated return of formerly incarcerated dancehall superstar Vybz Kartel, who is set to perform alongside the likes of Skillibeng, Busta Rhymes and more.

"Tell Kartel fi free we up, a that we a seh," one patron said.
