Jah Single reaps success

Florida-based reggae/dancehall artiste Jah Single is currently riding a wave of success as he promotes his new single, ' Uber Boy'.

The song, which was produced by the artiste, received paltry support when it was released earlier this year. Convinced that the song had the potential to be a hit, Jah Single recently ramped up its promotion with the release of a very exciting video. Since then, Uber Boy has been enjoying strong rotation in several places across the Caribbean, including Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago. The song is also getting support from DJs in the US, Africa, Europe and the UK.

"From the moment I recorded this song I knew it was going to be a hit, and every time I played it for someone they told me the same thing. When it just came out, the radio play was light. So, I figured if I did a great video for the song and pushed it hard, it would help to generate more attention for it," he said.

"I have to give props to my video directors Grizzly_Filmz for doing a magnificent job with this video. They understood the mission and executed it well."

Jah Single is also generating a huge buzz with another single titled Mow Down which is one of the featured tracks on his In My Element EP.

"This track is also doing well. I was surprised by the response that it's getting in Jamaica when I visited the island a month ago to do a promo run. It's getting a lot of airplay in Jamaica, it's also picking up Stateside and in Europe and Africa," he said.
