Bounty shuts down US concert rumours
Dancehall icon Bounty Killer has made it clear that he is not confirmed to perform at any event in the United States at this time.
The Grammy Award-winning entertainer issued a statement on Thursday to address a wave of misleading advertisements circulating on social media, falsely promoting his appearance at upcoming shows in the US.
Bounty Killer, whose given name is Rodney Price, recently secured his long-awaited US visa, a milestone that paves the way for his return to American stages after a 15-year absence.
Acknowledging the patience and unwavering support of his fans in the US diaspora, the dancehall legend assured that the wait will soon be over -- but urged the public to rely only on official sources for updates.
"The artist is happy to report that discussions with his management team and a booking agent are currently under way for his highly anticipated return to the performing stage in the USA. Bounty is obviously eager to perform for his thousands of diehard fans, but again, no date has been confirmed as yet," the statement read.
