J’Calm joins Sean Paul’s UK tour
Rising Jamaican star J'Calm is bringing his signature R&B-infused reggae sound to the global stage as an official opening act for Sean Paul's highly anticipated 'Bring It' UK tour.
The singing sensation, known for his smooth fusion of soulful vocals, rhythmic flow over reggae beats, and pop appeal, will electrify audiences across multiple cities, introducing his fresh and vivacious personality to new fans. J'Calm has already amassed an impressive following since the 2023 singles Tempted and Call My Name went viral, captivating audiences worldwide. His debut album Niche is also making waves on reggae charts. His ability to seamlessly blend island rhythms with contemporary influences has cemented his place as one of the most exciting young voices in reggae and dancehall today.
Sean Paul, an international icon and a key figure in bringing Jamaican music to the world, personally selected J'Calm for the tour.
"J'Calm represents the next generation of reggae and dancehall, and I'm proud to have him join me and the Dutty Rock Production team on this tour. His talent and energy are undeniable, and I know the UK audience will love what he brings to the stage," said Sean Paul.
Following their shows in Dublin and Belfast in Ireland on April 8 and April 9, J'Calm said this is a dream come true for him.
"Sean Paul has put his trust in my talent, first by collaborating with me on the Call My Name Remix and then providing amazing opportunities to perform with him. Having the support of someone who has paved the way for so many others, it is a huge honour. Dublin was surreal; I'm learning about a new culture and seeing how people in other countries appreciate our culture, plus being in a new environment - and, by the way, it's sunny but still cold here - to perform in such large, iconic venues, it's amazing. I can't wait to connect with fans across the UK and showcase my music on such a big platform," said J'Calm.
The tour will see Sean Paul and J'Calm perform in major cities, including London, Manchester, and Birmingham.
