Alkaline lights up London
After an eight-year hiatus, Alkaline returned to London and lit up the stage with an unforgettable performance, reminding fans exactly why he is the Champion Boy.
From the opening notes of We Up, the energy inside the venue was electric - and it never let up.
Hosted by English Fire and with Armzhouse Records' Maurice declaring the city officially "on fire", Alkaline delivered a set that kept the crowd locked in from start to finish.
Drawing from his extensive catalogue, he thrilled fans with bangers like City, Company, and the anthem that helped define his career, Champion Boy.
The ladies were not left out, as Alkaline smoothly shifted into fan-favourite serenades like On Fleek, Pretty Girl Team, and One More Time, showcasing his effortless charisma and crowd control. Emotional moments blended seamlessly with high-octane energy as he rolled through classics including After All, Extra Lesson, and Ride On Me, each delivered with precision and passion.
Rising stars Rajahwild and Armani delivered sensational peformances and set the stage for Alkaline's long-awaited performance. The event also saw a special appearance from British hip-hop trio WSTRN, who delivered their acclaimed collaboration, Txtin, with Alkaline. The collaboration has since earned silver certification in the UK, adding to Alkaline's success.
Though time ran out for songs like Bagga Tings and Spoil Yuh, the night still packed a punch. Closing with fan favourites Boss and the anthem Cree, Alkaline left no doubt - he didn't just make a comeback; he conquered.
"The energy was insane, it was an incredible night; one of those nights you just had to experience", Alkaline shared as he reflected on an incredible night at Wembley Arena in the UK.
Alkaline's UK return wasn't just a concert. It was a bold declaration that after all, he's still the one to beat.
