Dexta Daps booked and busy this summer

Dancehall hotshot Dexta Daps is turning up the heat this summer -- not only with steamy performances, but now from behind the boards as a music producer.

The stage commander is working on his first production project, a blazing new dancehall compilation titled 'First Up' riddim, and it's already creating a buzz.

The first release, Do The Most, by fast-rising artiste Tatik, is making waves online. But that's just the warm-up. Dexta is about to unleash MAD G, a lyrical bombshell from Chronic Law, with even more heavy hitters set to drop their tracks on the riddim soon.

While producing hits in the studio, Dexta Daps is also booked and busy for the summer. The No Underwear hitmaker is set to travel to Portugal for a star-studded appearance at Afro Nation, which will be held from July 9-7. He will perform alongside R&B powerhouses Chris Brown and Mary J. Blige, plus Afrobeat kings Davido and Burna Boy.

Dexta Daps is also set to perform at Reggae Land in England on August 2. The show will also feature reggae and dancehall royalty such as Chronixx, YG Marley, Protoje, Capleton, Steel Pulse and Kabaka Pyramid.

The dancehall star is also set to join an epic line-up for Vybz Kartel's 'Freedom Street'-- Europe this September. The must-see show will take place in Malta. It features Spice, Shenseea, Tommy Lee Sparta, Skeng, Jada Kingdom, Chronic Law and, of course, the 'World Boss' himself, Vybz Kartel.
