9Chxpz fights spiritual warfare on new track

Rising dancehall talent 9Chxpz is baring his soul on his emotional new single, Vent, a gritty track inspired by real-life struggles and spiritual warfare.

"This song is 100 per cent relatable to me," said the August Town-born deejay, who now resides in the United States.

Produced by DJ Krissonic of Abnormal Records, Vent takes listeners on a journey through 9Chxpz's life -- the highs, the heartbreaks, and the hustle.

"It was a great experience working with Abnormal Records and it was also a learning process. I got into music from the motivation that I got from a friend and although the journey has been rocky, it's also exciting," 9Chxpz said.

DJ Krissonic, who hails from the same community as the artiste, had nothing but praise for the up-and-coming artiste.

"He is a talented artiste and we are both from August Town, so it was just a natural thing to support and promote the artistes from the community. He has a bright future in music," said Krissonic.

As for what's next, 9Chxpz wants to see his name in lights

"I want to leave an impact in the music industry and to be the voice of the streets," he said.
