Diary this Weekend: Weekend Pick - Champions Dream - The Ultimate Jersey Party

The National Stadium East Car Park will come alive this Saturday as Champions Dream, ‘The Ultimate Jersey Party’, returns for a third year. The event, which normally features special guest performances by dancehall acts like Ding Dong Ravers had its inaugural staging at the Nannyville Community Centre in January 2016.

Radeen Haslam, one of the Champions Dream's organisers, says it is the season for football and the event is an outlet for persons who love the party and sports culture.

The admission has been maintained at the low cost of $500 for this must-attend sports-themed party. To add to the fun, there will be chances to win jerseys.

Persons are encouraged to represent the team they support by wearing a jersey and celebrate, win or lose, by dancing to music provided by Bishop Escobar, Bunny Mental, CD Fantasy Sound, DJ Swag Boss and other local disc jockeys. Party starts at 10 p.m. and ends at 2 a.m.
