Truck driver dies in Manchester accident

The driver of a premix truck was the victim of a road fatality on Thursday night.

He died after the truck overturned in Victoria Town, Manchester. He was the sole occupant in the truck.

Around 7 p.m. firefighters from the Mandeville Fire Department responded to a call of an accident in the area. Upon reaching on the scene the driver's body was seen trapped inside the truck. The firefighters managed to remove the body about two hours later and it was taken to the Mandeville Regional Hospital.

Unconfirmed reports are that the driver of the premix truck hit a vehicle, and in a bid to escape, the truck overturned.
