Shooting along Spanish Town Bypass leaves four persons hospitalised

Four persons are now hospitalised after the vehicle they were travelling in  was fired on by unknown assailants along the Spanish Town by pass in the vicinity of Salt Pond road at about 3:30 this afternoon.

Eyewitnesses say a black Toyota Voxy was driving along the Spanish Town by pass with four persons  including the driver inside when another vehicle pulled alongside them it is reported that  men  from the vehicle opened fire hitting all four.

The Spanish Town North Police who are investigating has not yet released the identities of the persons who were shot, nor have they established a motive for the shooting.

Checks made at the Spanish Town hospital  could not determine the condition of the victims.

The Gleaner Power 106 News Centre was told that the hospital was not authorised to release  this information.
