Firearm, ammunition seized in Kingston

A firearm and eight rounds of ammunition were seized by the Central police on Foster Lane, Kingston CSO, on Wednesday.

Reports are that, about 10:45 a.m., an operation was carried out in the area when a premises was searched. A .45 semi- automatic pistol, along with eight .45 rounds of ammunition, was seized.

No one was arrested in connection with the seizure.

Investigations continue.
