Ocho Rios Fishing Village gets big upgrade

Nearly $227 million has been approved for the redevelopment of the Ocho Rios Fishing Village.
The Andrew Holness-chaired Cabinet approved the multimillion contract for works to be done under phase 1 of the contract.
The Port Authority of Jamaica, in conjunction with the Tourism Enhancement Fund and the Urban Development Corporation, have embarked on a series of projects aimed at improving the cruise business in the town by way of improved infrastructure in and around the cruise ship terminal.
