Falmouth mother drowns at Half Moon Bay Beach

A Trelawny family was plunged into mourning after their family member, Tasheika Clarke, died.

"She has been acting strange in recent times," a relative told WESTERN STAR.

The relative said Clarke walked out of her house, which is located at Draggy Lane in Falmouth, without telling anybody where she was going.

"The next thing I heard [was] that she drowned," the relative said.

Clarke's body was taken from the sea at Half Moon Bay Beach in Falmouth at around 3 p.m. 

"I saw her come along the beach and removed her clothes. I thought she was going for a swim. The next thing I saw was she walking out into the sea until she went under," a fisherman said.
