'Rasta' fatally shot and set ablaze
Detectives in Manchester have launched a probe into the circumstances which lead to the bizarre murder of a man who was shot and set ablaze in Brockery district, on Monday.
Information reaching THE STAR is that 59-year-old Patrick Elliot, otherwise called 'Forkie' and 'Rasta', was found dead by residents at about 10:15 p.m.
Reports from the police are that residents stumbled on the body outside his home after loud explosions were heard.
Our news team understands that residents assisted in putting out the blaze.
Further checks revealed that Elliot was also shot multiple times.
His body was removed to the morgue and the scene processed.
The Corporate Communications Unit has confirmed reports and told THE STAR investigations are ongoing.
