May 31, 2018

National Commercial Bank yesterday issued an apology to customers for "any inconvenience experienced related to downtime and the ability to do the normal range of transactions" on its automated banking machines (ABMs).

In a release sent to the media, the bank said it was aware of the recent issues, and was working to address them.

"We have invested in tooling to monitor the machines for uptime and cash balances, and have revisited service level arrangements with our various providers," the release also said.

The bank also said it had initiated the installation of new machines islandwide, along with equipment and software upgrades.
