Negril security guard goes missing

Family, friends and the police have launched a search for a Negril-based security guard who went missing last Friday night.

The missing security guard, who works at a property in the popular resort town, has been identified as 23-year-old Tayvan Tennant of West End Road.

According to the police, Tennant was last seen at about 11 a.m. last Friday, when he left home for work. He never showed up at work and he did not return home, leaving family members to speculate that something bad might have happened to him.

"We are really worried because he is not one to go off anywhere without telling anyone," a relative told WESTERN STAR. "We have been checking all over the place for him, and we are getting increasingly worried with each passing hour."

According to the police, when he was last seen, Tennant was clad in a blue striped shirt, blue jeans pants ,and a pair of blue shoes.
