Rollyn Dyce has sight set on stardom

Upcoming Montego Bay-based entertainer Rollyn Dyce is now quite upbeat about his career, following the release of his first official single which he hopes will put him on a path to stardom.

The song is titled Toe You Pan Mi Bicycle and was produced by RoRo Jammings Productions from out of New York and Lab International Records.

"The single drop over the summer and it a gwaan bad a road. Everyone love it and it is all about partying with the girls them," the 30-year-old entertainer, born Fabian Griffiths, told the WESTERN STAR.

"The song a bun up road a Trinidad and UK. The people them just love it and I plan to shoot a music video soon," said Rollyn Dyce.

The artiste, who grew up in Albert Town, Trelawny, before relocating to Montego Bay, said he has always had a passion for music.

"I started writing when I was in Grade 8 at Albert Town High School. Always listening to Tupac, Biggie and 50 Cent, and so I started to write some rap songs. My family a say it a go hard to be a rapper in Jamaica so I did some adjustment and start write some dancehall," he added.

The entertainer also aims to make a splash in theatre plays, having recently got a role in a production called Mass Tarta Do Road.

"This way people will get to both see and hear me so they can know me better. I can motivate and influence them because my music is all about positivity," he said.
