Prostitute allegedly killed by colleagues

Another unidentified prostitute from Montego Bay, St James, was stabbed and killed on Tuesday night.

Reports from the police's Corporate Communications Unit are that at about 11 p.m. the unidentified woman, who has scar on her left arm, got into an altercation with other women, who are believed to be in the same line of work, in the vicinity of Harbour and South streets in the parish.

The woman, who is of brown complexion and stout built, was stabbed several times by the women who allegedly mobbed her.

A passer-by saw the woman and helped her to the hospital. She was pronounced dead on arrival.
