'Partying' mom to return to court in March
Joelle Clayton, the woman who abandoned her four-month-old baby in a car as she partied last month, will return to court next March.
Clayton appeared before a judge on Tuesday after she was charged with child endangerment.
The infant is reportedly being cared for by his maternal relatives.
Reports are that a passer-by saw the child inside the vehicle crying, and summoned the police.
The police, in trying locate the parents, used a sound system at the party that was being held inside Sabina Park, Kingston, to call for the parents to come forward.
The police also broke the window of the vehicle in order to rescue the baby.
The child was medically examined and the vehicle towed.
