Baby Sae'breon was well cared for

Staring intently and lovingly at her son, Suzett Whyte said it was evident that the woman who had the newborn really wanted a child as her baby appeared to be well cared for.

"Mi see say she did well want a baby cuz him look like she take care a him but she shouldn't take mi baby because a mi a him madda," she said.

Baby Sae'breon was taken from the Victoria Jubilee Hospital last month, but was reunited with his parents today.

Whyte had earlier told The STAR that she had forgiven the woman for snatching her baby.

Now that she is in pocessession of baby Sae'breon Hutton, the hatred had disappeared.

Also beaming with exictement was the couple's older son, seven-year-old Rudean who, after showering Sae'breon with kisses, said he is ready to play the role of big brother.

"Mi feel happy mi see him because is a long time me did a wait for him to come out a mi mother belly," he said holding on to his brother's tiny fingers.

The baby's temporary caregiver Donette Shaw-McDonald went to work at the Child Protection and Family Services Agency (CPFSA) earlier this week and was assigned to take care of stolen baby Sae'breon Hutton; she was overwhelmed.

"When I saw him when I got in on Wednesday, I felt a sense of relief as I knew his story and felt really good that there was a happy ending and he was going to be reunited with his parents," she said.

"Like all the other children, I showed him a lot of love and he wasn't a fussy child, he only cried when he was hungry. I am filled with emotions right now and I am glad he is home where he belongs," she added.

Sae'breon was stolen from the VJH in Kingston hours after he was born. He was found after a woman attempted to register him at the Registrar General's Department in Twickenham Park, St Catherine on Tuesday. DNA tests were required to link the child to his parents.
