Shaggy snags second Grammy

Jamaican superstar Shaggy is celebrating his second Grammy win, after his collaboration with music legend Sting,44/876, was earlier tonight named Best Reggae Album at the 61st Grammy Awards.

The duo, who formed what some considered an unlikely duo, earned the award over Protoje'sA Matter of Time, Etana'sReggae Forever, Ziggy Marley'sRebellion Rises andAs the World Turns by Black Uhuru.

Shaggy's previous Grammy win was in 1996 for hisBombastic album.

Sting now has 16 Grammys, both with the band The Police and as a solo act. But this was his first nomination in the reggae category.

Various members of the entertainment industry, along with Culture and Entertainment Minister Olivia Grange congratulated the duo on the win.
