Slain policeman remembered as a good man

Slain District Constable Michael Alladice has been described by those who knew him as a man of morals, and someone who commanded the respect of those with whom he came into contact.

"He was a good policeman, everybody love him. If him did deh here, the sound would a string up and music would a play now. Him normally have a Saturday event but it never get to keep last night (Saturday). Mi nah lie, mi miss him bad because him was a good man," a female told The STAR as she stood outside his business place on Slipe Road in Kingston.

In addition to being a policeman, Alladice is well-known within the East Kingston arena for hosting several entertainment events.

Alladice was murdered on Saturday night in Kingston. According to the Constabulary Communications Unit, the policeman was found slump over the steering wheel in his Toyota Probox car with what appear to be gunshot wounds to his upper body about 1:05 a.m.

Alladice was attached to the Kingston Central Police Division up to the time of his death.

The Elletson Road police are investigating.
