Mom thankful after teenage daughter found alive and well

Nadesha Williams is breathing a sigh of relief after she was reunited with her only child, 17-year-old Nicole Kerr this morning.

"I feel like I just win $10 million. I haven't slept or eat much since Saturday because I was so worried. I plead the blood of Jesus all week and pray for her safe return. God is real and was on our side, because the end result could have been different. She is my only child and I love her more than myself," the mother said.

The child was reportedly at the home of a friend. An Ananda Alert was issued this week after Kerr went missing.

Reports from the Morgan's Bridge Police are that Kerr, who is from Grange Hill, Westmoreland, left home about 9:30 a.m., and had not been seen or heard from since. 

Williams has expressed thanks to persons who, through various means, have assisted in the search.

"She is in good health and was not raped or anything. She is a very good child but I really don't know why she decided to just leave like that. We are going to have a very long talk and move on with our lives. I am so happy she is home," the mother said.

Williams was scheduled to travel overseas on Sunday, but she was forced to cancel her flight after learning Kerr was missing.
