Bus conductor accused of robbing children at gunpoint

A St. Ann man, who is accused of robbing three students at gunpoint as they walked on a footpath in Browns Town in the parish on October 3, was charged by St. Ann detectives on Thursday, October 24.

He is 21-year-old Marlon Cunningham, a conductor of Cave Valley and York Castle Drive, St. Ann.

Allegations are that about 7 p.m., Cunningham held up and robbed the three students at gunpoint. A report was made and an investigation launched. He was arrested during a police operation on October 10. He was then placed on an identification parade where he was pointed out by the complainants. He was subsequently charged with robbery with aggravation and illegal possession of firearm.

Cunningham is scheduled to appear before the St. Ann Parish Court on Monday, October 28.
